Message to parents of Year 5 children

We have recently had several issues with the TikTok app in school. We would like to remind you that the recommended age for this app is 13 years old due to the content on the app. Children below this age are often not mature enough to deal with the content they may be exposed to. In addition to this, it has been the cause of numerous fall outs and issues amongst the children in the year group. Whilst this is of course a matter for parents to decide, we would as always advise children’s internet use is closely monitored and all parental controls are applied wherever possible.
